Troubleshooting

Find missing or unexpected practice data

Check filters, archived content, and log details when an item, note, or statistic looks wrong.

Open in Cadenso

Cadenso keeps saved music, notes, and practice data in your account. If something appears to be missing or a total looks wrong, first check whether a filter is hiding it or whether the relevant session was saved with different details.

Start by refreshing the current screen and checking its active filters. In the iOS or Android app, pull down on the screen until the refresh indicator appears, then release it.

An item is missing from My Music

  • Reset search and filters in My Music.
  • Check Archived Items.
  • Confirm that you are looking at the correct instrument and item type.

A note is missing

  • Reset Notes filters and clear note search.
  • Check the filters for note type, item, practice type, instrument, and label.

Statistics look wrong

  • Reset Statistics filters.
  • Open the underlying practice logs and verify duration, date, time zone, instrument, practice type, and item.
  • Confirm that the expected log was saved after finishing the timer.
  • Remember that permanently deleted logs no longer contribute to statistics, while archived items retain history.

A reminder did not appear

  • Open More → Reminders and confirm that the reminder is enabled for the expected weekday and time.
  • Check whether Cadenso shows Permission required or Notifications are off.
  • Open your device settings and confirm that notifications are allowed for Cadenso.
  • Confirm that you are using the Cadenso iOS or Android app. Reminders are not available in the web app.

If data still appears missing, contact support with the affected screen, approximate date, and item name. Do not include your password.
